Rwanda Adventure: June Update
Just wanted to get out a quick note about our upcoming Rwanda trip. We’ve got two major requests we would like you to join us in prayer over:
Healing
Last weekend, while camping with some friends, Milo broke his ankle. He had surgery yesterday to have 2 screws put in. The doctors have said he needs to be non-wieght bearing for the next six weeks…our Rwanda trip is in less than 9 weeks. Pray for a speedy recovery and that everything heals according to plan so that he has the most mobility possible on our Rwanda trip.
Finances – 75% to goal
We’ve been amazed by the generosity of our friends and family. To-date we have raised 75% ($5,185) of our goal ($6,905). We have $1,720 left to raise by next Saturday, June 23. If you’ve given to our trip, thanks! We’re thrilled and humbled by your investment. If you’ve been waiting to give towards our trip, see the info at the bottom of this email about how to give.
Our next Rwanda team meeting is next Saturday and we will have some fresh info for you.
Thanks again for being a part of this adventure with us. You’re friendship and support mean the world to us.
We love ya,
Bethany & Milo
